Instructor: My Secret Garden
Class Description: Flowers have been speaking for centuries—if you know how to listen.Join us for a beautiful journey into floriography, the art of communicating through flowers. Discover the fascinating meanings and symbolism hidden within familiar blooms and learn how flowers have been used throughout history to express love, friendship, remembrance, gratitude, hope, and even messages that were sometimes better left unspoken.
As we explore the stories and sentiments behind different flowers, you’ll learn how color, flower choice, and thoughtful design can transform an arrangement into something much more meaningful.
Then, you’ll put the language of flowers into practice by creating your own floral posey—choosing blooms not only for their beauty, but for what you want them to say.
No floral design experience is necessary. Come ready to create, learn, and discover just how much a flower can say without ever speaking a word.
